Philippe Laeremans

Philippe Laeremans

27 rue des Minimes - 1000 Brussels - Belgium

Since my youngest age, I lived in the world of the primitive objects of art. My father was a collector. Throughout the years, I learned how to look at objects, but especially to develop my own sensibility and knowledge of old Tribal Art. It is at the age of 13 years when I made my 1st acquisition: a pair of Ibeji. Later, I decided to collect actively. Passion quickly became a fixed idea, what motivated my intention to open a gallery. So I could manipulate a maximum of authentic objects and to meet collectors of any skylines. To live among objects, can appear for some of madness, for me it is the concrete expression of a dream. I love my job and hope I to share my passion with a maximum of collectors across this splendid art which is Primitive Art.
