Jean Jacques Lussier
Jean Jacques Lussier has taken a keen interest in tribal arts, particularly African Art, for more than four decades. In 1972, he acquired his first object, a Bamana mask, and from that moment, he has sought to deepen his knowledge in the world of “arts premiers” through his travels and extensive personal research. Authenticity, age and aesthetics have always been the essential criteria guiding Lussier’s choices in the acquisition of objects and his passion and discerning eye can be appreciated in each piece. For the past twenty years, Lussier has organized numerous exhibitions and sales of African and Pre-Columbian art in Montreal. Here they are presented for the first time in his on-line gallery.
