Galerie Afrique has been founded in 1974 in Ramatuelle, near Saint-Tropez. Every summer, a thematic exhibition presenting ancient arts of Sub-Saharan Africa is organized. A second gallery, established in Saint-Maur from in 1985, offers new acquisitions by appointment.

The owners, Ana & Antonio Casanovas have organized thematic exhibitions in galleries and museums, and participated in the most important international events related to this art.
