Museums - Worcester Art Museum

Throughout its 105-year history, the Worcester Art Museum has maintained a history of benefaction. The museum’s collection spans five millennia of world cultures and features European and North American painting, prints, photographs and drawings; Asian art, Greek and Roman sculpture and mosaics, and contemporary art. The collection also features Islamic, Indian, and pre-Columbian art. The latter includes a number of fine objects, some acquired through the gift of Mr. and Mrs. Aldus Chapin Higgins, and others by museum purchase.
