The Seneca Nation is proud of its rich history and has erected a fine museum in Salamanca. Traditional Iroquois materials, such as baskets, corn husk dolls, beadwork, and silver work, are on display, as are several Seneca wampum belts. Large-scale permanent exhibits at the museum include a clan animal display, a partially reconstructed Longhouse, and a rebuilt log cabin.
