The Capuchin Convent in Sarrià, far from the center of Barcelona, holds a collection of ethnographic materials collected by Capuchin missionaries in the Andean-Amazonian region of Colombia from as early as 1860. The collection includes pre-Columbian ceramics, utilitarian items, paintings, and ritual masks, as well as zoological and botanical specimens.
