Close to the Musée Albert Schweitzer, the Musée d’Art Africain exhibits the objects brought from Gabon by Colmar native Emma Hausknecht, a nurse in Lambarena from 1925 to 1957. Weapons, stone carvings, ivory and ebony sculptures, skirts, and antelope horns are among the pieces exhibited.
