Museums - California Museum Resource Center

For more than a century, the state of California has received generous donations of artworks from individual citizens. As stewards of these cultural resources, the CMRC staff researches, documents, preserves, exhibits, and provides access to these collections. For Native art, the collection’s primary focus is North American Indian material culture. Artifacts include examples of basketry, pottery, beadwork and textiles.
