African art Exhibition
The Art Institute of Chicago presents an exclusive exhibition on art from the Benin Kingdom this summer. Around 220 works will be on display, including cast bronze figures, altar heads, wall plaques, royal regalia, and more. The exhibition project was organized by the Museum für Völkerkunde, Vienna, and is the first to reunite many of the finest Benin works that have been held in separate collections around the world.
